Multiple guided tours per day led to our Copal booth and visitors experienced the ease of our systems.
The Copal C2 Mobile container unloading system is operational in the port of Amsterdam. The system is used by logistics company Vollers for semi automatic unloading of containers with jute bags of cocoa or coffee beans in an ergonomic and economical way. Physical effort and risky labor are avoided and thus the Copal system contributes to Vollers' CSR policy.
The Copal container unloaders will soon be equipped with special scanning software. The software will determine the order of the unloading of boxes or bags, where currently this is still done by the operator.
The software guarantees an efficient gripping movement and sequence. This reduces the cycle time, which benefits the unloading speed. The operator will continue to control the process from his comfortable cabin.
The first tests were carried out in January and the results are promising.
With the Copal C2 Mobile you can empty your container with loose loaded heavy jute bags semi-automatic, in an efficiently way, without physical effort of your employees. The bags are palletised by a robot according to a customer specific stacking pattern. After completion, the pallets are removed with a forklift truck. The mobile container unloading system can be moved quickly and easily and operate at multiple locations, also outside, for example in sea ports. No dock levellers are needed.
Floor loaded carton boxes and bags are unloaded from containers at high speed by the C2 container unloader from Copal Handling Systems. The Copal system can be used in every logistics centre where standard and high cube containers are unloaded. The machine can be directly connected to the internal logistics system.
